Yesterday I hosted co-working in my hometown, a little gathering where we bring our laptops, catch up, eat some snacks, and get work done. It’s common in larger cities, but I moved back to rural Fluvanna County, VA a couple years ago. So watching something like this take root here is one of my favorite things happening right now. It takes patience and consistency before it builds momentum, and I’m grateful for every single person who’s been showing up each month, building it with me.
So, let’s talk about showing up before something is proven – that’s been a theme for me this week in a bigger way, too. I’ve been deep in a rebrand process, which for me has mostly looked like a lot of late-night chats with Claude AI and some uncomfortable self-reflection as I uncover my personal philosophies about business and technology – and how to translate that to someone who finds me for the first time.
What keeps coming up for me is this: my strengths are often someone else’s weak spot, and vice versa. Websites and online tools have been my world my whole life, and for a lot of the people I work with, that’s exactly where things feel overwhelming. Everything I do, even business systems setup and process improvement, comes back to clarity and authentic self-expression. The best place to start is with the tools people actually see.
So if you’ve been wondering what it would look like to work together, let’s start here: how’s your website?
Not from a traffic standpoint. Not from an SEO standpoint. Just… when someone lands on it, do they know what to do next? Book a call? Fill out a form? Or are they still texting you, DMing you, emailing three different addresses?
Your website is the first system someone encounters when they find you. It should feel like a warm front door. And what comes after it – the way a lead moves through your world until they become a client – that should feel manageable for you and clear for them.
Ready to see what I’m talking about? Tell me about your business, and we’ll go from there. Enjoy your day!
