What is HEARTWIRED CO.™?
HEARTWIRED CO.™ is business design and technology consulting for solo business owners and small teams. We help you build the back-end infrastructure your business actually needs, without the overwhelm or the agency price tag.

Who do you work with?
Our clients are solo practitioners, small teams, coaches, consultants, and service providers who are doing meaningful work and need their website, systems, or CRM to finally work as hard as they do. You don’t need a big budget or a full staff to work with us.

What makes HEARTWIRED CO.™ different from a typical agency?
Most agencies start with the tool. We start with you. Before recommending a single piece of software, I figure out how you actually think and work. Sometimes the right answer is a CRM. Sometimes it’s a shared spreadsheet or a checklist that gets something out of your head. The tech comes last. We also work specifically with solo business owners and small teams, so you’re never being fit into a framework built for a company of 50, and you’ll always work directly with Erica.

What is a Solutions Session?
A Solutions Session is a one-hour paid working session focused on a specific challenge in your business systems, website, or tech setup. It’s a great option if you have one pressing problem you want to solve without committing to a longer engagement.

What is HEARTWIRED Foundations?
HEARTWIRED Foundations is a 12-week CRM buildout designed to get your client relationship and workflow systems fully set up and running. By the end, you’ll have a CRM that actually fits your business and a process you know how to use.

What is Kind Ops? 
Kind Ops is a 60-day support offer for clients who have already been through HEARTWIRED Foundations or are working in systems I’m already familiar with. Think of it as having me in your back pocket. You can send a voice message, a video, a screenshot, or just type out your question, and I’ll respond with guidance, a walkthrough, or whatever you need to move forward. It’s ideal for workflow questions, figuring out how to do something in your system, or getting a second opinion before you make a change. This is not a done-for-you service in most cases, though some hands-on tweaks are included within the first 60 days following a Foundations project. No meetings, no retainer pressure, just responsive support when you need it.

What is HEARTWIRED Presence? 

HEARTWIRED Presence is our website build service for business owners who need a professional, functional website that reflects their brand and converts visitors into clients. We specialize in WordPress websites built with Elementor Pro, and we include an Elementor Pro subscription for as long as your site remains on our monthly maintenance plan. We offer full website builds as well as website refresh projects for clients who already have a WordPress site and need updated content, structure, or design without starting from scratch. Erica leads the project with a design and build team handling execution.

Do you offer WordPress maintenance?
Yes. We offer ongoing WordPress website maintenance for business owners who want their site kept secure, updated, and running smoothly without having to think about it. This is a great fit if you already have a WordPress site and just need reliable ongoing care. You can view our maintenance plan details here.

Coaching

How do I know if I need a coaching session or a Solutions Session?
If you’re trying to think something through, a decision, a pattern, or the bigger direction of your business, that’s an Intentional Business Design session. If you already know what needs to get built or fixed, a CRM set up, an automation connected, a workflow cleaned up, that’s a Solutions Session. And if you’re honestly not sure which one you need, book the Next Steps Call. That’s exactly what it’s there for.

What if I only need help with one thing, not a whole program?
Then book one session. Foundations is for people ready to rebuild their systems from the ground up over several weeks, but a lot of people just need a single coaching session or a Solutions Session to work through one specific thing, and that’s a completely reasonable way to start.

Do you work with coaching clients long term, or just for a few sessions?
Both. Some people come in once to think something through, and that’s exactly what they needed. Others work with me for months, especially through Foundations or ongoing coaching, because their business and their priorities keep evolving and there’s always another layer worth looking at.

Will you hold me accountable to deadlines?
Not the way you might expect. I don’t think urgency should get handed to you from the outside. Something that feels urgent to someone else isn’t necessarily urgent to you, and you’re the one who gets to decide that for yourself. My job is helping you get clear on what actually matters and what order to tackle it in. If something has a real deadline, we work with that. If it doesn’t, I trust your own timing, and I’ll check in with curiosity next time we talk, not pressure.

Is this the same as ADHD coaching or executive functioning coaching?
Not exactly. A lot of the people I work with relate to that experience, feeling scattered, losing track of details, struggling to prioritize, but I don’t coach from a diagnostic lens or run anyone through a checklist built around a label. I pull in whatever actually helps, executive functioning tools, business coaching, a few other approaches, always in service of the bigger thing: a business and a life that fit who you are.

What’s the difference between coaching with you and therapy?
Coaching looks forward. We’re working on where you’re headed, what you want to build, and how to get unstuck around your business and your priorities. If something comes up that needs more depth than coaching can hold, I’ll tell you, and I’d rather point you toward a licensed therapist than pretend I’m the right person for that conversation.

How do I know coaching will actually work for me?
Most of the people I work with have already tried other systems, other coaches, other advice that didn’t stick, and it wasn’t because they didn’t try hard enough. It just wasn’t built around how they actually operate. If that sounds familiar, it’s worth a try. And you’re never locked into more than the one session you book.

Tools and Tech

What CRM do you recommend?
Since I mostly work with solo business owners who need the basics done well, I typically recommend 17hats. I’ve also set up Dubsado, built custom systems in Airtable and ClickUp, and created simple setups using just Google Sheets and Docs. If you’re already using a CRM, I’m happy to take a look at what you have before recommending anything new.

What do you use to build websites?
We build on WordPress using the Elementor Pro builder. It gives you a site that’s polished, flexible, and manageable long after we hand it off.

What other platforms and tools do you support?
We work across a wide range of tools that small service-based businesses rely on every day, including:

Google Workspace, Gmail, Microsoft 365, 17hats, Trello, Asana, Zapier, Airtable, ClickUp, Calendly, Zoho, Dubsado, Flodesk, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Stripe, PayPal, Square, Slack, Zoom, and Wix.

Can you troubleshoot a technical issue with my website, email, or hosting?
Yes, more than likely. If you have an issue with your website, email, web hosting, DNS, automations, or marketing tools, it’s probably something I can fix or at least point you in the right direction. Sometimes I’ll work directly with the technical support team for your tools, because I know how to ask the right questions to help them do their job faster and save you the frustration. Just make sure you have your login information ready for any apps you need me to troubleshoot.

Process and Booking

How do I get started?
The first step is booking a free 20-minute Next Steps Call. We’ll talk through where you are, what you need, and whether we’re a good fit.

What if I’m not sure which service is right for me?
That’s exactly what the Next Steps Call is for. You don’t need to have it figured out before we talk.

Do I need to use Zoom to work with you?
Most of my consulting work, including systems support, business advisory, and troubleshooting, is done through Zoom or email. If Zoom doesn’t work for you, just let me know and we can arrange a phone call or another video option. For clients in the Charlottesville to Richmond area, in-person meetings are also available on a limited basis.

Do you work with clients outside of Virginia?
Yes. Most of our client work is done remotely and async-friendly, so location is not a barrier.

Investment and Timeline

How do I find out about pricing?
Pricing varies based on the scope of your project and which service is the right fit. The best place to start is a free 20-minute Next Steps Call where we can talk through what you need and what working together would look like.

How long does a project take?
HEARTWIRED Foundations runs 12 weeks. A full HEARTWIRED Presence website build typically runs 8 to 12 weeks. Website refresh projects move faster depending on the scope. Timelines for all projects are confirmed during onboarding.
